kimchi halal or haram???

for kimchi korean people add 서고기다시다 powder i think it is haram

If it's a home made kimchi, it's halal. Bacause it's only consist napa cabbage, salt, chili, fish sauce (anchovies sauce), onion, carrots, ginger, garlic, white radish, glutinous rice flour. And there's no dasida added in any original kimchi. why use dasida on kimchi??

before i worked many kitchens. in order to get a delicious taste, they add sokogi tashita and also sause cheyukpogim and meunchimyukpogim souce. these souce help to be more spicy

It's different between kimchi as a side dish and kimchi as a main menu. original kimchi (side dish/banchan), don't use any dasida, msg maybe, but dasida no. in the other hand, kimchi as a main menu (kimchi jjigae, or any other kimchi menu), most of it use dasida or even 맛술 (cooking wine).
