rennet cheese

is this cheese safe to consume? mufko says its safe and apparently there's nothing in the ingredients. but rennet is derived from animals mostly which is not mentioned there. someone knows?

we wrote in to check with manufacturer for this particular cheese; uses coagulant enzyme (microbial rennet) produced by micro organisms. hopefully this reply helps
