Can you mention the Issue? what's wrong with tuna?
you can see it in the picture
In my opinion, the program never says that the product is halal or not. The program only show the ingredient on the product and highlighting the critical component in the product. The program also notices that the ingredients in the app may be not the latest one. Thus, it may be helpfull for first months in the Korea. Actually, it is ourselves responsibility to be able read hangel and understand some basic korean words, ideally before come to Korea. This, it is better to improve our korean than blaming the program.
About the picture, produced in same facility with chicken does not mean that it contains chicken. I will avoid the product. but if others think the cross contamination is very low, than it is back to their self
Just my two cents
what you said is true but it shows that there is pork here
Does the picture look good?
There is caution in the result. It is written that the ingredients that may be not the latest one. Thus, if someone find there is a difference, then report it to the admin instead of blaming. The ingredients of product in Korea can be change over time. I think that it is not possible for the admin to maintain one by one the registered product because it is voluntary. Even KMF can not check all product continuously.
i have no intention of blaming anyone but i wrote to get information about it
I wrote to the admin and I hope to get an answer soon
did you see the picture i put up i hope i didn't get lost in the picture
I am pretty sure you have no intention of blaming the program or anyone related, but the way you put your intentions on the questions can be read differently, sounds 'negative' and 'angry', at least for me.
The part of pork that you mentioned above regards to the statement of: [This product is produced in the same facility with beef, chicken, pork, milk, walnut, tomato, soybeans, wheat, crabs, and shellfish]. And Khabib Khumaini has explained well about this issue.
You will find the statement of [This product is produced blabla] in almost all foods and drinks sold in Korea. The purpose is to inform consumers any possibility of traces of allergens in the production process. So even though the product is halal but contains wheat and soy (for example), someone may still cannot consume if she/he has allergy of wheat or soy.
Again, as Khabib Khumaini has explained above, it is back to the individual. This app is just a tool to help us identifying the ingredients in general.
I took it out to ask others for full details from the admin because it didn’t go right with the card in the program
i don't know english i am translating
I don’t want to offend anyone, I apologize if the words were mistranslated
Thank you Khabib and Lisa for your support and detail explanations. The support are very helpful for us.
All of the explanation are correct. We are really sorry for the not updated information that may exist in this app. For that reason, we provide a notice on every page regarding that and put report button on every product to anticipate this possibility that's very hard for us to handle without help of others.
For your report, we have updated the information of this product and add the mark of "produced with same facility with pork"
For your question about who run this app, you can check this article that we made to answer this question.
